Welcome to Pitshanger Poets

Pitshanger Poets started life in Pitshanger Manor, Ealing. It is now based a few yards further down the road at Questor’s Theatre. We are simply a group of enthusiasts who read poetry, try to understand what it is all about and sometimes write it. We are an eclectic lot and do not as a group hold to any particular idea of what poetry is or should be. All we ask is that poetry should be interesting either in style or content - preferably both.

We have a weekly workshop, a twice yearly magazine and an annual competition. The Mattock Press, associated with us, publishes poetry. From time to time we organise readings by good poets which may include the opportunity for readings from the floor.
